Will this treatment hurt?
During the treatment, the spicules are gently massaged and tapped into the skin, creating a tingling, prickling, or mildly stinging sensation, often compared to the feeling of sand. The spicules remain on the skin for up to15 minutes before being gently removed. While the sensation is unique, most clients describe it as uncomfortale yet tolerable.
How many treatments will I need?
The strength of the treatment can be adjusted. For your first treatment we will perform a "light" protocol and may increase intensity for furure treatments. The number of treatments needed depends on the target condition, goal, and the strength of treatment performed.
Is there any downtime?
Downtime ranges based on the strength of treatment performed and varies person to person. You may experience heavy visible peeling, while others do not experience any visible peeling at all.
